My Express Shipping Nightmare: Paid for 3-5 Days, Waited Weeks 😤
I want to share my terrible online shopping experience as a cautionary tale for others. I was in a bind after my old glasses broke, so I placed an order on March 30th and even paid extra for 3-5 day express shipping. What followed was an absolute nightmare of delays and frustration. My honest conclusion is this: "Terrible company. Ordered glasses March 30th, paid for express shipping 3-5 because my old glasses broke. Day 5 roles around still in production, day 10 still in production… Stop giving terrible companies your money… someone doesnt give a crap about their customers and I will telling all my four eyed friends to never shop here. Terrible terrible terrible." After 11 days with no updates, I felt I had no choice but to call their customer service.
Customer: My order number is 45912. I placed it on March 30th and paid for express shipping. It's been 11 days and it's still "in production." My old glasses are broken, I need to see!
CS Rep: I am so sorry for this unacceptable delay. Let me check your order status immediately. I see the delay in our lab and I sincerely apologize. This is not the service we promise our customers.
Customer: What's the point of paying for express shipping if you can't deliver? It's been 11 days! I want my shipping fee refunded now, and I want to know when I'll actually get my glasses.
CS Rep: You are absolutely right. I have just processed a full refund for your shipping fee. Your glasses are scheduled to ship tomorrow, but the new delivery estimate is another six days out. I am so sorry.
Customer: Another six days? That's almost three weeks for an "express" order. This is a joke. Just make sure I get the shipping refund.
