🚨 BOGO Nightmare: Glitchy Site & Unhelpful Support
I’m writing this as a warning about my terrible online shopping experience. I was lured in by a BOGO offer, but their site was so full of glitches it was impossible to collect the offer. When I finally sought help, the whole situation confirmed my initial feelings. This company is "Dishonest, doesn't honor promos. Makes it impossible to collect offer when the site is full of glitches. No customer Service 24 hours, no agent. Unprofessional." I had to contact them to fix what was clearly their mistake, and the conversation that followed is why I felt compelled to share this.
Customer: Hi, I'm contacting you because the BOGO promo didn't apply to my order due to a website error. I'd like a credit for the second pair of glasses.
CS Rep: I apologize for the trouble you experienced with our website. I see the issue, but unfortunately, I can't apply a promotion after an order is processed. You will need to return the glasses and place a new order to get the BOGO discount.
Customer: That makes no sense. The glasses are the correct style and prescription. Why should I have to return them and wait for weeks because of your company's mistake? Just credit the amount back to my card.
CS Rep: I understand your frustration, but our policy requires a return and reorder to apply that promotion. I can send you a pre-paid return label to get the process started for you.
Customer: This is unbelievable. You admit it's your fault, but you're offering the most inconvenient solution possible. This is completely unprofessional. I want this fixed now.
CS Rep: I am very sorry, but that is the only solution we can offer to honor the BOGO promotion. I can assure you we will process your return and new order as quickly as possible.
