Paid for 3-5 Day Express Shipping, Got a 3+ Week Nightmare 😠
I'm writing this as a warning. My old glasses broke, so I urgently ordered a new pair from GlassesUSA and even paid extra for 3-5 day express shipping. Days turned into weeks with no update. My experience can be summed up like this: Terrible company. Ordered glasses March 30th, paid for express shipping 3-5 because my old glasses broke. Day 5 roles around still in production, day 10 still in production. Day 11 I call to ask for a shipping refund, they seemed like they do it all the time by the way she responded. So i got the 10$ in shipping but these glasses are STILL 6 days out on delivery. Stop giving terrible companies your money let them die out because someone doesnt give a crap about their customers and I will telling all my four eyed friends to never shop here. Terrible terrible terrible. Day 19 or whatever still no glasses!!! This absolute frustration is what forced me to contact their customer service for some kind of explanation.
Customer: My order is still ‘in production’ after 10 days. I paid for 3-5 day express shipping because my old pair broke. What is going on? CS Rep: I’m very sorry to hear about that delay. I can certainly understand your frustration. Can I get your order number to check the status for you? Customer: It’s #XXXXXX. I’m just furious. What’s the point of offering express shipping if you don't even start making the glasses for over a week? CS Rep: Thank you. I see the production delay here, and I sincerely apologize. I've gone ahead and refunded your $10 shipping fee. It appears your order is now shipping, but the estimated delivery is still 6 days away. Customer: A $10 refund? That's it? I've been waiting for weeks and still have to wait another week. This is unbelievable. I needed these glasses urgently.
The reason I left this review on the website is to hopefully prevent others from falling into the same trap.
